Breakfast Keynote - Love. It's what makes a Subaru, a Subaru.
Paula Weisenbeck | Account Director
Paula is an avid supporter of integrated thinking and cross-platform solutions. This is most recognizable via her work with the partnerships team at Subaru, where she has led such inventive projects such as the Subaru Zero Landfill project. This first of its kind public-private partnership has the goal of eliminating trash sent to the landfills in our national parks and has been recognized for its effort by several organizations including the Effies and the UN.
She has brought this thinking to other clients including the fully-integrated launch of the all-new Cadillac. This globally-produced, two-time Effie-winning campaign not only beat sales goals, but brought an entirely new group of shoppers into the Cadillac brand. Other efforts include leading cross-agency marketing planning and advertising execution for Purina brands as well as work with Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express, the NYSE, Kozy Shack Pudding and Nordstrom.
Adam Craw | Account Director
Adam Craw joined Carmichael Lynch over three and half years ago working on Subaru as an Account Director. In his role, Adam leads a team that handles all major launch initiatives for the brand. Adam has a broad range of category experience working at world-class creative agencies including Fallon, Wieden+Kennedy, M&C Saatchi and Publicis. Creative work that Adam has worked on for the likes of Target, Sony, T-Mobile, Cadillac, The San Diego Zoo and Loctite Glue has been recognized by Time Magazine, the Andy Awards, Addys, Ad Age and Adweek.
Lunch Panel Discussion - Making the Case for Infusing Diversity in Design
Josh Fleming, Vice President of Marketing, Bank Iowa
Josh Fleming has been working in marketing for over 20 years and has focused on corporate branding and digital media strategies. Josh recently joined Bank Iowa as their Vice President of Marketing where he overseas marketing communications for the bank. Prior to Bank Iowa, Josh was with the The Meyocks Group, developing brand strategies and marketing plans for a variety of clients. Josh has also spent time at Lessing-Flynn, The Integer Group and DHI Holdings.
The University of Missouri graduate is the former AMA Iowa Chapter President, a member of the Business Record’s Forty Under 40, and for a middle-aged ginger, he’s actually a pretty decent guy. In fact, Fleming typically attributes any perceived success to consistently being surrounded by people more talented than himself.
In his spare time (which is rare), Josh teaches a digital marketing class at Drake University and is currently pitching an animated comedy series he wrote to the good folks at NetFlix. True story.
Josh and his lovely wife Daina (as in someone’s in the kitchen with Dinah) live in Waukee and spend their free time driving their occasionally lovely five children to soccer, baseball, basketball, ballet and swim meets.
