The Marketing Data Analyst will work across the agency to help teams collect, manage, and analyze various marketing data sets, such as website analytics, email campaigns, CRM data, social media platforms, online advertising or other sources. The Marketing Data Analyst will help with performance reporting on activities that have already occurred as well as identify opportunities and criteria for future marketing success with clients and the agency.


• Responsible for organizing, standardizing and analyzing data to tell deeper stories about our marketing activities

• Define and analyze how business requirements and marketing objectives translate to data needs

• Develop dashboards and reports for clients’ website, email marketing, social media, digital media and other data

• Create, manage, and retrieve various data connection sources, including custom reports and spreadsheets

• Use functions, formulas, and expressions to create custom measurements as needed

• Manipulate, clean, and maintain client data (e.g., social feeds, prospect lists, etc.)

• Work with Google Analytics, Google Ads, social platform insight tools, email marketing reports, and other sources to report relevant data

• Help client teams identify opportunities and optimize digital marketing efforts based on data analysis

• Advocate with cross-functional and client teams for the collection of the most appropriate and relevant data

• Identify trends in client data and offer recommendations for action

• Document processes and best practices for data analysis and reporting

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Media, Digital Marketing, Insights) to provide insightful analysis and derive actionable insights

• Help present findings in easy-to-understand ways to various audiences across the agency and clients


• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferably in related field (math, statistics, data analytics, economics, or related)

• Experience working with data and analytics/BI tools

• Interest in marketing

• Strong Excel skills

• Knowledge of programming languages (such as R, Python, SQL, etc.) and data visualization tools (such as Tableau, Datorama, etc.) is helpful but not required

• Understanding of data concepts, including data models and mapping

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and deadline-driven

• Excellent organization/time management, communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work with team members who are highly technical as well as those with little to no technical experience

• A curious nature with an interest in understanding how data can help drive our marketing efforts
