The Digital Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for growing the adoption and education of Freeman’s Digital solutions to the event industry through internal (Freeman account owners) and external lead generation. The SDR will act as part of a team hunting new business.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform research to identify potential sales opportunities; communicate to internal contacts to qualify and capture initial interest
Answer potential internal client inquiries and follow-up call questions Lead and strategize on Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and consult on best practices by working closely with Digital Sales Manager on customer RFPs / Requests for Information (RFIs)
Manage the proposal process for answering customer RFPs, assigning and collecting proposal sections to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as required
Manage the proposal database ensuring that boilerplate is accurate and contains the latest product information
Update sales capability presentations and setup presentations for senior channel sales managers
Maintain database of sales opportunity information (via Salesforce)
Manage weekly pipeline report and ongoing team reporting needs
Work closely with Sales Leadership & Operations team to implement and follow effective processes

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree is required
0 to 4 years of full-time corporate sales experience; software sales is a plus
Proven track record of success prospecting for new business
Experience with Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook Prior experience with Salesforce preferred
