Best of Show Showcase - The Vestibule at the Hall

Have you ever wondered what goes into the work that wins the Best of Show at our annual American Advertising Awards? Join us with 8/7 Central at The Hall for a unique opportunity to learn more from the winners on their work on the Vestibule and overall space design of The Hall while exploring The Hall first hand. In a slight twist of our regular luncheon, we'll split into groups to eat and explore various segments of the new space, including the design elements and importance that the history of the building had in the creation of the venue.Come eat, learn and explore all that this new venue has to offer.

About The Speaker

Eight Seven Central is a East Village based design and screen print studio where we aspire to develop meaningful and honest work. Our combination of award-winning design work and hand-crafted screen printing has enabled us to produce unique brand identities, digital media and custom shirts for a broad range of clients — for businesses, non-profit organizations, schools, bands, and family events.

Adam Ferry has been working in Des Moines since graduating from the ISU College of Design in 2004. He has spent time as a package designer at Corporate Image, designed visuals for audio/video installations at The Art Center & 80-35, and also sub-contracted graphic design work for Kemin & Meredith.

Adam joined Eight Seven Central in 2010 to focus on identity & branding efforts. This has lead to established relationships with architects, developers, brewers/distillers, stylists, restaurants/cafes, distributors, music directors, and manufacturers.

When he's not focused elevating Des Moines area brands, you can find him restoring his mid-century modern home with his wife Hillary. They have two wonderful young children and dogs, so there's never a dull moment.

He's currently finding inspiration in: White by Kenya Hara and Lane 8 - Little By Little
