Planting an industry flag in Middle America
Description: For decades, the marketing communications industry has mainly been a ‘big city’ thing. Bailey Lauerman is trying to change that. Greg Andersen, CEO of the Omaha-based shop will talk about the big city echo chamber and how he has positioned BL to represent America outside of that to help clients understand the complexities of America between the coasts.
Speaker Bio: Greg bring 30 years of marketing communications experience from top agencies in New York, Los Angeles and right from the middle in Omaha, Nebraska. In his career he has worked with brand including Google, Miller Lite, Netflix, Cadillac, Johnnie Walker, Toyota, Westin Hotels, Axe, and Mattel.
Prior to this role as CEO of Bailey Lauerman, Greg served as both President of RAPP U.S. and Managing Direcotr of RAPP Los Angeles, overseeing four U.S. offices and 600 employees. In New York City, Greg was CEO of BBH U.S., earning 4A's Midsize Agency of the Year five out of the sever years of his tenure there. Webby's Agency of the Year and numerous Cannes Lions and EFFIEs.
Greg served on the Global Baord of Directors of EFFIE Worldwide for 10 years and today sits on the Omaha Economic Development Council, and the Board of Directors of the Nebraska Council of Independent Colleges Foundation.
